Finding clips

Ask for clips from an episode and get drafts with the posts already written.

Ask for clips and your agent finds the moments that stand on their own. It can pull from any episode in your archive, not just the latest.

Each clip arrives as a draft, with a post written for each channel. Nothing is posted until you approve it.

Try asking

Clip the latest episode

Find three clips from my latest episode

Clip a topic

Find a clip where we talk about burnout

Ask for a feeling

Find the funniest moment from episode 42

Follow one person

Find clips of my guest from last week’s episode

Set the shape of it

Keep them under 60 seconds and to one idea each

What you get

A list of clips, best first, with a reason for each. Approve, edit or delete them.

If an episode has few good moments, you get fewer clips.

Preferences

Your agent remembers your tone, who to tag and which YouTube channel to take video from. Tell it in plain words, like "Keep posts casual, no emoji" or "Tag our host as @jack on X".

Credits

Finding clips is free. You spend a credit when Fountain first transcribes an episode, and one for each post you publish. See what credits cost.
