Getting started
Connect an agent to Fountain. Then ask for what you want in your own words.
Connect your agent
Follow the steps for your agent.

Open the Fountain plugin and click Add
If the link doesn't work, go to Settings → Plugins → Discover and search for Fountain.

In the plugin's Connectors tab, click Connect next to Fountain and sign in to your Fountain account

Start a chat and say "Set up Fountain"
For the best experience, we recommend Claude Code. On Team and Enterprise plans, your admin may need to allow the plugin.

These steps set up the OpenCode CLI.

opencode mcp add fountain --url https://api.fountain.fm/v1/mcp --global

Sign in to your Fountain account in the browser:
opencode mcp auth fountain

Install the Fountain skills:
npx skills add fountain-fm/fountain-skills -g -a opencode -s '*' -y

Start OpenCode and say "Set up Fountain"
These steps set up the Hermes Agent CLI.

Add the Fountain MCP server, sign in to your Fountain account in the browser, and enable all tools:
hermes mcp add fountain --url https://api.fountain.fm/v1/mcp --auth oauth --connect-timeout 300

Start Hermes and say "Set up Fountain"

These steps set up VS Code or anything else that supports remote MCP.

Index your episodes
Fountain transcribes every episode of your connected shows and uses the transcripts to find clips.

Connect social channels
Connect X, YouTube or Instagram so your agent can post clips there.
Connect my YouTube account so clips can be posted there
Create your first clips
Ask for clips from your latest episode. Each one arrives as a draft for you to approve.
Name a caption style or describe one, and save it to use on every clip.
Find three clips from my latest episode
Use the hormozi caption style, and add my show logo in the corner
Set your preferences
Your agent remembers your tone, caption style and the stories you want clipped.

Set up Daily Growth
Every morning, your agent checks the news and drafts clips from episodes that match.

Choose how it reports Email me the drafts instead of rendering them automatically
Publish an episode
Give your agent the file and a time. It publishes or schedules the episode and writes the show notes.
Early access and bonus episodes work the same way.
