Shanquella Robinson: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Shanquella Robinson was a 25 year old woman from Charlotte, North Carolina, who died under very suspicious circumstances while on vacation with a group of friends in Cabo San Lucas Mexico in October 2022.
As clues came in and her friends’ stories changed, developments surrounding the investigation gained significant attention both in the media and online. The Mexican authorities ruled Shanquella’s death a homicide, but the FBI declined to file charges.

Sebastian Woodroffe: Victoria Gracia, Peru
Sebastian Woodroffe, a 41-year-old from British Columbia, journeyed to the Peruvian Amazon in search of spiritual healing through ayahuasca. However, his quest took a dark turn. On April 19, 2018, Woodroffe fatally shot 81-year-old shaman Olivia Arevalo Lomas, though his motive remains unclear. In response, locals took justice into their own hands, lynching him in a vigilante act captured on video and later shared on Facebook.

Donovan Cameron, a professional boxer from England, traveled to Las Vegas to train at Floyd Mayweather's gym but never returned home.
He was last seen alive on the night of January 10, 2019, by his wife of nine months. While she claimed he was battling depression and took his own life, his family strongly suspects foul play.
Investigations by authorities in the US and England reached different conclusions about Donovan’s death, leaving many questions unanswered.

Matthew Mullaney: Florence, Italy
Matthew Mullaney was only 21 when he left Massachusetts to study abroad in Italy.
But just a few weeks after his arrival, on January 31st 2003,
Matthew left an Irish pub and disappeared without a trace.
His disappearance triggered an international search across Europe,
with several unconfirmed sightings reported until around 2006.
After that, the trail went cold.
Many theories have emerged about what might have happened to Matthew,
but as of today, he remains missing.

47: Jeffrey Hodgson: Ibiza, Spain
Jeffrey Hodgson, a 38-year-old man from Stockport, England, disappeared on July 8th, 2001, while vacationing with his parents in Ibiza. Jeffrey, who had intellectual and developmental disabilities, waited outside while his parents checked into their hotel. When they returned, he was gone.
A large-scale search ensued, and despite reported sightings, Jeffrey remained missing for over a year. It wasn't until mountain climbers discovered his body that the case took a more puzzling turn. The location
Nancy Ng: Lake Atitlán, Gautemala
Nancy Ng, a bright, outgoing, and beautiful 29-year-old from California, had a deep love for yoga. In October 2023, she traveled to Guatemala for a yoga retreat—but tragically, she never returned.
Her heartbroken family is desperate for answers, but the witnesses have not given an official statement, won't speak to Nancy's family, and the details didn’t make sense.

Taylor Casey: Paradise Island, Bahamas
In early June 2024, Taylor Casey left her home in Chicago to attend a month-long yoga retreat on Paradise Island, Bahamas.
With over 15 years of yoga practice, she was eager to earn her teaching certification and bring back her newfound skills to share with her community.
However, on the evening of June 19th, after leaving a class, Taylor vanished.

Darryl Fornatora: Cabarete, Dominican Republic
Darryl Fornatora and his friend Matt Rigby traveled from Florida to the Dominican Republic for a week-long surfing trip. They arrived on January 25, 2016, but just two days later, Darryl disappeared without a trace.
The following day, Matt abruptly left the island, returning home with Darryl’s belongings. He didn’t notify the embassy, local authorities, or even Darryl's family. It wasn't until the day after Matt’s return to Florida that he finally called Darryl’s parents to deliver the heartbrea
Mieke Oort: Leeuwarden, Netherlands
At 21, Mieke Oort left Massachusetts after graduating high school to pursue her college education in the Netherlands.
Like many college students, she was embracing this new chapter—immersed in learning, exploring, making friends, and dating.
However, her life took a tragic turn when she connected with a man on Tinder. After a few dates, Mieke decided not to continue seeing him, but he began stalking her and, on March 6, 2022, brutally murdered her.

42: Claudia Kirschhock: Negril, Jamaica
Claudia Kirschhock, a 29-year-old travel writer from New York, was on her way to Havana, Cuba, when an unexpected layover in Jamaica left her stranded for a few days. With her plans to reach Havana put on hold, she decided to explore the island.
However, on the afternoon of May 27th, 2000, Claudia mysteriously disappeared from Sandals Resorts in Negril. She was never seen or heard from again.

Ryan Roth: Bali, Indonesia
Ryan Roth, born Ryan Flynn, vanished from a cliff in Bali, Indonesia, on January 20, 2020. The 39-year-old, originally from Southampton, England, left behind his passport, driver’s license, a suicide note, and other personal items at the site.
However, many, including Indonesian authorities, believe Ryan may have faked his disappearance to look like a suicide and is actually in hiding.

40: Austin Oldfield: Gifford Pinchot National Forest
Glen “Austin” Oldfield, known by his middle name Austin, departed from Louisville, Kentucky, heading to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Southwest Washington State for a two-week solo camping trip.
Before entering the forest, he sent a message to his fiancée, informing her that he would be off the grid and would contact her again on October 1st, 2015.
But Austin never made contact. When he didn’t reach out as planned, she reported him missing on October 2nd. Despite an extensive search, no
Nathan Clarke: Grand Cayman Island
Nathan Clarke left England and relocated to the sunny Cayman Islands with his fiancée. However, his life took a tragic turn when he disappeared during a night out with friends.
On February 25, 2012, 31-year-old Nathan Clarke went out for a sunset drink with his fiancée and visiting friends. While they were standing on the beach, they suddenly realized Nathan was no longer with them. He was never seen again.

38: Leo Widicker: Tabacón, Costa Rica
Leo Widicker, an 86-year-old retiree, dedicated his retirement to traveling and assisting others through volunteer work and church missions. While on his 41st mission in Costa Rica with his wife Virginia in November 2001, he mysteriously disappeared from the Tabacon Hot Springs Resort.
Despite an immediate search effort initiated within 15 minutes of his disappearance, no trace of Leo was ever found.

Dilek Ertek, a prominent socialite and the affluent Turkish distributor for Tiffany & Co., planned to celebrate her 70th birthday on a cruise to Bora Bora with her Swiss partner, 74-year-old Artur Fuchberger. 36: August Reiger: Banos, Ecuador
August Reiger asked his parents for a trip to a Spanish-speaking country to celebrate his high school graduation, as he was fluent in Spanish and loved learning about new cultures.
So just weeks after graduation, his parents and younger brother left Oklahoma for a two-week vacation in Baños, Ecuador.

In November 2013, 47-year-old Nelly Alva left Lima, Peru to visit her American boyfriend in the Bahamas. After he departed the country, Nelly stayed for another month. Then, she vanished.

Steven Cook: Crete, Greece
Steven Cook was a 20-year-old from the UK, on holiday to the Greek island of Crete with a group of friends. It was his first trip without his parents, and he was eager to enjoy his freedom before returning for his final year of college.
On his first night in Crete, Steven got separated from his friends and disappeared while making his way back to the hotel. Despite relentless efforts by his family and friends to find him, Steven remained missing for years.

Alex Gumm: Kauai, Hawaii
Alex Gumm was living with his parents in Maine when he took a vow of silence, adopted a plant-based diet, and delved into research on various religions, conspiracy theories, and the possibility of extraterrestrial life on Earth.
After breaking his silence, he informed his parents that he was heading to Hawaii to seek enlightenment. The next day, he shaved his head, and his parents dropped him off at a bus station.

31: Forrest Schab: Mexico
Forrest Schab is a 26-year-old rapper from Canada known by the stage name DY, short for Die Young. He left Canada for Mexico sometime in August 2010 and subsequently vanished without a trace.

Alex Humphrey: Boquete, Panama
Alex Humphrey, a 29-year-old from England, disappeared on August 13, 2009, while visiting Boquete, Panama.
He embarked on a solo backpacking adventure through Central America, eager to explore the sights and immerse himself in the local culture.

28: "Angie" Chong Sum Yee: Mae Sai, Thailand
Chong Sum Yee, known to everyone as Angie, was 22 years old when she left home on a solo trip from Malaysia to Thailand on May 29, 2023.
It was her first time traveling abroad alone, and she didn't inform anyone about her plans. Her family only discovered she was gone through a Facebook post.
What happens next has more twists and turns than most Hollywood movies, and Angie has not been seen in person since.

27: Mariska Mast: Roatan, Honduras
Mariska Mast was 23 years old when she left the Netherlands on a backpacking adventure through Central America. Her journey led her to the picturesque island of Roatan, Honduras, where she decided to pursue a PADI Scuba Diving course.

Carla Valpeoz was 35 years old when she left Michigan with a friend
to attend a wedding, celebrate her birthday, and explore Peru.
Following the wedding, and wanting to do some solo exploring, Carla ventured alone
to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley.
But tragically, the last known sighting of Carla was captured by surveillance cameras in the village of Pisac on the morning of December 12th, 2018, a she made her way toward the Sacred Valley.

Elliot Blair, 33, and his wife Kim from Orange County, California, traveled to Rosarito, Mexico, to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary.

Ildar Rakhmatulin, 38, was nearing the end of his global journey as he reached Fiji from New Zealand on April 7th, 2023.
Scheduled to fly to Malaysia on April 10th, his plans took an unexpected turn. On April 9th, he departed from his hotel, carrying only his backpack and suitcase, inadvertently leaving his phone and keys behind. Jason Cortez, 29, left his new bride behind in Virginia to journey to Los Angeles, where he lent his photography skills to a friend's creative project.
