On Thursday night, The USMNT lost 2-1 to Panama in their second group stage match of the Copa America. Tim Weah received a red card in the 18th minute which meant the U.S. had to play with ten men for the remainder of the match. Folarin Balogun scored four minutes later to give the U.S. a 1-0 lead but then Panama came back and scored in the 26th and 83rd minute to win the match.

Who could be 3 surprise inclusions on the USMNT Nations League roster?
On today’s show we are going to talk through three potential surprises that you could see when the USMNT roster for the Nations League gets announced next week.
Why am I doing this? Even when the roster seems fairly predictable, Gregg Berhalter usually offers up at least one complete surprise.
So I’m going to take three guesses of who an “out of nowhere” roster call up could be. I thought it would be a fun exercise because Berhalter seems to come up with at least one big surprise each roster.

What are the biggest decisions Berhalter has to make for the upcoming Nations League roster?
The USMNT will be in action again on March 21 when they take on Jamaica in the Nations League semifinals. If they win that, they’ll play in the final three days later. I’m expecting that Gregg Berhalter will announce the roster for those matches somewhere around March 13 which is only a few weeks away.
