A Theory Revealed
Earlier this year, William Tyrrell’s foster mother was charged with supplying false information to the New South Wales Crime Commission. The hearing has just taken place and Lia was there.
In this episode, criminologist Dr Xanthe Mallett joins Lia to talk about what happened and how, while the charge itself was not relevant to William’s case, it did involve the investigation into his disappearance.

Another Dead End?
At the time of our previous episode, two months ago, police were undertaking an extensive, and very public, search of a number of areas in and near William’s foster grandmother's house in Kendall, NSW. The search concluded after four weeks without any substantial findings, once again leaving two families still desperate for answers.
So what happens now?
With Lia once again is criminologist Dr Xanthe Mallet to talk about the current state of the investigation, and what the next steps might be.

A New Direction
A year after the last episode, and two years into the inquest, police have named a new person of interest.

The latest inquest hearings have wrapped up. The court heard some testimony not known about previously including a nasty exchange in the courtroom, more about the transition of the case from former lead detective Gary Jubelin to current lead detective David Laidlaw and for the first time, the words of William’s big sister as she grows up without her brother.
