The story arc also sees a pivotal turning point for Vegetta, as well as the loss of Krillin. Freeza himself is solidified as one of the best villains of all time as he goes from overpowered terror to the sniveling weakling who can't hold a candle to Goku and ultimately tries to take one final cheap shot. We're going to recap the entire saga, and discuss the lasting impact it had on not only the Dragon Ball franchise itself but also the anime genre as a whole.
