Thank you for tuning into the 58th episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. I am Matt Campbell and today I am going to be talking about the Hot New Wedding Songs that were released in October 2021. Now just for the first-time listeners, I am not able to play the songs due to copyright laws, but if you want to listen to, or read, the lists you can do so on our website, MyWeddingSongs.com. Just go to charts, then new wedding songs. Now I am going to go thru the list in chronological order starting with October 4th and working our way up to October 29th. I have 24 songs for you today so let's go ahead and get started with the first song on our list. It is a Folk song by The Macarons Project called “Hold Us Tight (Acoustic version)”. This is a great love song that you could have just for the Folk fans during the ceremony, or even as a first dance song during the reception. Next up, released on October 6th, is a great new Disco song by Kylie Minogue and Years & Years called “A Second To Midnight”. This is a great dance song you could have during the party section of your reception when you want to get everybody out on the dance floor.
Released on October 8th is an EDM Pop collaboration by HONNE and Griff called “Back On Top”. This is a great background song you could have during cocktail hour. Also released on October 8th, is one of my favorite new Hip Hop songs called “Boyz” featuring Jesy Nelson and Nicki Minaj. This is a great dance tune you could play during the dancing part of your reception. You could also even have it as a garter toss song for all of the single guys. The first song released on October 13th by The Wanted is called “Rule The World”. This is a song that you could have as an entrance song as people are being introduced, or even as a background song during the reception. You may remember The Wanted from one of my favorite last dance tunes, called “Glad You Came”. Also released on the 13th is a song by Smile and Robin called “Call My Name”. This is a great Pop tune you could have during cocktail hour or during dinner. The first song released October 15th is by Kygo and X Ambassadors called “Undeniable”. This is an EDM song that you could have as a background song during the cocktail hour just for the EDM fans or if you decide to have an all EDM cocktail hour set. Also on the 15th is Drake White’s new song “Power Of A Woman”. If you have a special woman at the reception you want to dedicate a song to, definitely check out this song. It could be an Aunt, Mother-in-law, or anyone that is special to you, this would be a great song to play in the Country genre. Also on the 15th is a great new Country Pop song by Chelsea Cutler called “Forever”. This is a mid-tempo song you could have as a background song or even as a first dance song, the message is perfect for a wedding day. The 15th was a very busy day, so we know it was a Friday, but Pink Sweat$ released his first song of the month “I Feel Good”. This is a song I would highly recommend during the cocktail hour that will keep the mood up and everybody feeling good.
Now, Brian McKnight said he was going to retire from producing music, but he still is releasing music every once in a while and this is a great song, released on the 15th, called “Faithfully”. No, it is not a cover of Journey’s very popular song. It is a great love dedication you could have during your ceremony, including the Unity,
