Today he consults on Hollywood projects, making sure things portrayed on the screen reflect the reality he knows so well. Donte “Bojangles” Johnson is a community organizer and managing director of Slauson Rec, a recreational center and theatre company located on the Eastside of South Central Los Angeles helping people in the community use art as a means of expression. Bo co-founded the organization with Shia LeBeouf after they met during Bo’s first acting role in David Ayer’s The Tax Collector.
