The Christian life is not an escape from difficulty but a call to endure with faith and perseverance.In our last message, “When Temptation Comes”, we saw how trials are not random interruptions but opportunities for God to shape our faith. Today, we continue with “Candidates for the Crown of Life.” Here, James takes us beyond merely surviving trials—he points us toward the eternal reward God has promised for those who endure.Our key text is James 1:12:“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”This verse holds out both a present promise and a future reward.
