took our recording outdoors due to some unfortunate circumstances with our podcast studio. Our studio is currently out of commission because of some damage to our gear, and we are in the process of removing a pool that was installed. Despite the challenges, we are enjoying the outdoor vibe, even though it might affect the audio quality.
The main topic of this episode was food plotting. I shared my unconventional methods for creating food plots without high-tech tools. Despite the challenges, such as dealing with flooding, the clover I planted has started to grow, and I am optimistic about its success. We also discussed the importance of shooting does to manage the deer population and the challenges of changing the mentality around this practice.
We touched on the recent changes to the youth hunt regulations, expressing our disappointment with the decision to eliminate the ability to hunt bucks during the youth hunt. We believe this change could negatively impact the future generation of hunters. Additionally, we discussed the challenges faced by disabled veterans who are also affected by this regulation change.
Overall, this episode was a mix of updates, personal experiences, and discussions on hunting regulations and practices. We hope our listeners can bear with us during this transitional period and continue to enjoy our content.
