As they leave the Maven Temple at Duna Din the gang are attacked by giant bats. Gorel and Jansey are hurt and Doggy runs away to lead one of the giant bats away from the group.As the friends re-group and head back to the port, Splott tries to piece together the events since the journey started, gaining a greater understanding of his friendships.  Doggy remains missing.
