Michael Lofton addresses recent comments made by Bishop Athanasius Schneider on disobeying the pope’s restrictions for the Missal of 62 (erroneously called the Traditional Latin Mass). He points out some concerns with his approach in light of the Catholic magisterium on the authority of the pope over the sacred liturgy.
