Here are a few of Dr. Fitness' secrets about how to watch out for seemingly healthy choices that pack a lot of calories at some of your favorite restaurants. Number 1, Ruby Tuesday's Veggie Burger has over 900 calories, bet you didn't know that. Number 2, Chili's grilled salmon meal gives you 8 oz of salmon some rice and veggies for about 700 calories - probably more than you thought but it sounds good to the Fat Guy. And Number 3, beware the Macha Green Tea Blast at Jamba Juice...that 32 ounce smoothie will cost you well over 600 calories. For that amount of calories I'd much rather have the salmon from Chili's. He had a few more tips but you'll have to listen to get them.Kathie finally came back to the studio and she promised that she would be around more often.
