Believing in learning directly from his peers and the elders, Wallace has shared the stage and/or has studied with a host of jazz luminaries, such as Wycliffe Gordon, Lee Konitz, Joe Chambers, Jason Marshall, Vincent Gardner, Matt Wilson, Grachan Moncur III, Howard Johnson, Andrew Cyrille, Whit Williams, Tim Green, Warren Wolf, Matt Wilson, and many others; as well as Kim Burrell, Antone “Chooky” Caldwell (as well as contributed/arranged music for his recent album “Subject to Change”), Nolan Williams, Jr., Marcus Johnson, Mary C & the Stellars, and Earth, Wind, and Fire tribute band "In Gratitude" of the R&B/funk/gospel/genres.
