In the late 1990s, Texas Country Music Stalwart, Josh Grider, made his way from Las Cruces, New Mexico to Luckenbach, TX for one of Willie Nelson’s “4th of July Picnics”.  The experience opened his horizons to what was out there for aspiring singers and songwriters beyond what could be heard on nationwide country radio at the time.  Josh mentions seeing some notables for the first time including Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, Cory Morrow and others and how it changed his outlook as to what just may be attainable in the music business. Josh initially moved to Waco, TX to attend college at Baylor University where he started his first band, “Riverside”.  After graduation, Josh moved to Austin to focus more on his music and he released his first project in 2005.
