For the very first curated table on BRKIN Bread, there was a community conversation with Black men. There were some very challenging and honest conversations that needed to be had. Across Episodes 7, 8 and 9, our dinner guests discussed masculinity, emasculation, racism and identity – all through the lens of being a Black man at various stages of life and love. The conversations were nuanced, vulnerable and humbling. As always, the food went down a treat and the Black man bonding continued after we chopped.
