Mike Alston gave a brief history and clip from the Backsliders, which broke up in 1999; Jacob Downey — the Boy Wonder Jinx, which broke up in 1998; and Rachel Sloane — Ladderback, which broke up in 2002.For Community Canvas, Mike sat down with photojournalist Jason Arthurs who graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2003 with a degree in journalism to hear about his work. Arthurs now works as a freelancer and produces both print photography and video content.Finally, this week’s Wolfpacker of the Week was Liz Walters, a senior in graphic design and representative of Campus Arts Council and Arts N.C.
