From the outside many of the same issues this defense had last year appear to still be there, breakdowns in coverages, poor tackling and the inability to get stops late in games. But hearing from Lincoln Riley and players and coaches, their view is the defense is much improved over last season.Ryan and Connor give their thoughts on how the defense is trending after six games as USC is now heading into its most important and difficult stretch of the season.They also give an injury update including wide receiver Zachariah Branch as well as cornerbacks Domani Jackson and Christian Roland-Wallace.
