This was recorded on a clear and sunny morning in a stand of Red and White Fir trees, after it had snowed the night before, in Castle Crags Wilderness, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. As the sun warmed the snow covered trees towering above, it began to melt the snow, which rained down onto the snowy forest floor.  Sound By Nature is produced by me with the generous support of listeners like you.
