You can learn a lot about a person if you just take time to listen to their story. Michelle Hobgood came into my life as my health coach. With over 15 years in the fitness industry, keeping me accountable on my wellness journey was second nature to her. And frankly, she continues to inspire me, which you'll soon find out. But, what I didn't know about Michelle at the time was that she was fighting her own health and wellness battles…and then some. Michelle is fit, feisty and has an infectious laugh that you just can't help but love. At first meeting, you'd never know she is the mom of an adult son with Autism. You also would miss that she is in a multicultural marriage. And likely, it wouldn't dawn on you that she faces unconscious biases every day; professionally and personally.
