You can also just be interested in it from this angle, the idea that if you have full control of your data, and the code that you're using, that you're running on that data, then anybody can fork it, modify it, tweak it, and create a whole... That's where the Cambrian explosion comes in, this whole proliferation of apps that give users very different experiences."
