It might be a remake of a Japanese film based on a Japanese novel, but it achieved the impossible by surpassing its predecessors and has become one of the most easily recognisable horror films of all time. Yes, Kyle is writing this and YES, I know I'm biased since it's my favourite horror movie; but also Jennie had never seen it and her reactions are... well, they're worth a listen.
