Florida Sheriff Training Shelter Dogs to Be Service Dogs

Law Enforcement Today: Crime and Trauma Stories

Florida Sheriff Training Shelter Dogs to Be Service Dogs. Cpl. Jessie Holton from Brevard County Sheriff's Office is joining us to discuss their amazing Paws and Stripes College program. This program is saving shelter dogs and training them to be service and therapy dogs for children and adults with special needs, in addition to Veterans and First Responders with PTSD. And they are placing the dogs for FREE. It is a phenomenal program that is improving the quality of life for shelter dogs and people. They are looking for other Law Enforcement Organizations across the U.S.A. that they can train and assist in implementing this program in their area.
