Coach Hyde says the honeymoon is over and now the real work begins, focusing on achieving higher team goals. This is the Trojans last season in the Pac-12 and the rest of the league knows it. Not only does USC have a target on its back, the competition in the Conference of Champions is better than ever. The Trojans desperately need to show improvements this season for any chance at a championship run and to build some momentum heading into year one in the Big 10.
