Devon Harris is a three-time Olympian and one of the original members of the Jamaican Bobsled Team. In 1993, Disney released the movie Cool Runnings about the Olympic Bobsled team from Jamaica, with John Candy as the coach. Devon was on the team depicted in that movie. How much of the movie is true? Who played Devon in the film? What was John Candy like? How were they able to train in a country that doesn’t have snow?! And how did the people of Jamaica treat them after crashing their bobsled on a worldwide stage at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics?  As an original member of the 1988 Jamaican bobsled team and captain of the 1992 and 1998 teams, Devon Harris achieved his grand dream.
