I sat down in-person with Koji Higashi, one of the most active Japanese Bitcoiners, to talk about what’s holding Bitcoin back in Japan and how he’s building a community here. He founded Diamond Hands, Japan’s biggest Bitcoin and Lightning Network community, but he’s also been around for a long time so we get some nice perspective on Japan’s unique crypto history.
We also hear how Koji thinks that Japanese are good savers but are saving in the wrong asset, and how Japan's recent inflation might drive Japanese to seek a more sound money; namely, Bitcoin.
