It was Halloween Night 2009, in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle Washington. They had stopped their police car for additional training and where suddenly ambushed without warning. The suspect opened fire, injuring her and killing her police partner. Britt talks about the event, the immediate after effects, the funeral, her recovery and police career.
