I've had the pleasure of living in Dubai for over 2 years - it was a great experience however one that I couldn't make permanent. I recently left & moved back to the UK - couldn't be more happier. It may be odd for you to read this because of all of the fruits Dubai brings; safety, 0 tax, etc. What you don't see however is the negatives & that all comes down to the person at hand.
