In this episode of 1050 Bascom, we were grateful for the opportunity to interview Paul Kelleher, Professor of Bioethics and Philosophy at UW-Madison. Prof. Kelleher’s teaching and research explore ethical and philosophical dimensions of public policy, especially health policy and climate policy. Prof. Kelleher shared his insights on bioethics and Covid-19, and how public policy responses to the global pandemic have played out at the national, state and local level over the last year. He has served on two state-level allocation committees, as well as the UW Hospital ethics committee concerned with ICU triage. We learned so much from Prof. Kelleher and enjoyed our conversation.
