Here's another little update from the farm and homestead.  I hope this episode finds you well here on this April Fools Day - and it sure feels that way with snow here in NE Ohio!Today, I cover the April Newsletter from York Meadow Farm...see below for a few examples:  This month, we are dropping a little hint that The Soap Lady is also experimenting with new soapmaking techniques and equipment, and we hope to reveal the new soap designs in late May / early June at the Farmers Market of Medina County! Speaking of the Farmers Market - the first market is Saturday, May 1!   York Meadow Farm continues to sell products in conjunction with the following vendors:Yellow House Cheese Online store is open Tuesday through ThursdayDelivery & pickup on SaturdayThe Exchange Market 320 S Court St, Medina, OH 44256Destiny Farm 3821 Granger Rd, Medina, Ohio 44256Grounded Yoga & Wellness 593 North Main Street Grafton, OH 44044The commercial kitchen is coming along slowly but surely!  We made great progress last month, thanks to help from a recommended local contractor, Dan Duelley - who we hired on recommendation to help finish the ceiling.    If you're looking for someone to hire to help you with some carpentry or finish work, give him a call - we are very happy to have worked with him.    Our friend and tenant farmer, Cody Matthew Grey has again stepped up to help, along with Matt Cantlin from Marvel Farms.  Along with Matt Kaiser supervising and planning the project, we've got a great team and are proud of all the work that's been accomplished this last month.In Cody's Corner, he writes:"The farm is starting to look like a quilt. There are so many different colors, textures, and phases of getting the beds planted outside. It's an original piece of ever changing art each year. Wind. The wind can and will break you down.
