Let’s go ahead and get started with the first song on the list. At number 50 is the very popular father-daughter dance song by the Temptations called “My Girl, first released in December 1964. As I said, it is a great father-daughter dance song. Actually, if you do not have it as a father-daughter dance song you could open up the dancing set with this song and it will fill the dance floor. At number 49 is a current dance hit by Ava Max called “King & Queens” which was released in March of 2020. Now, if you don’t want to have it as a dance song, I think it would make for a great bouquet toss song as well. The 48th song on the list is a popular Pop Country song called “Glad You Exist” by Dan & Shay released in February 2021. But recently they released an acoustic cover of this song as well, so check that out. At number 47 is a throwback song “Opportunity (Let’s Make Lots Of Money)” by the Pet Shop Boys, released July 1, 1985. It is making a comeback because of the car insurance commercial including this song in their ad. It could make for a good money dance song. Or it could even be played during the dancing part of your wedding. At number 46 is the former member of One Direction, Harry Styles, with his very popular Pop song “Watermelon Sugar”, released in November 2019. It makes for a great background song for dinner or cocktails.
At number 45 is a wedding-themed song by Miranda Lambert called “Settling Down” which was released in November 2019. You know she is re-married now and this song features her and her new husband so be sure to check out the video. Number 44 is a new popular first dance song called “Better Together” by Luke Combs also released in November 2019. You have to remember it takes 1 to 1 ½ years for a lot of songs to become mainstream and incorporated into weddings. This is one that I see in the future will become a popular wedding song. Next up, number 43 is a mid-tempo Country song by Brett Young called “Lady” released May of 2020. You could have this as a background song, or even as a father-daughter dance song. At number 42 is AJR with “Bang” released in February of 2020. This is a great sing-along song or an intro song as the couples enter the reception hall.
Number 41 is Ava Max again with her hit “My Head & My Heart” released in November 2020. It is a great dance tune you could have for young pop fans. And to round out the 40s,
