Send us a textThe holidays can bring so many emotions and insecurities into our lives. We want the holidays to be perfect and magical, yet often as single parents or blended families, the holidays bring incredible challenges. In this week's Tiphany's Talks, I share a vulnerable DM from a lovely listener that is asking how to navigate the holidays with more compassion and forgiveness for her difficult ex. I love this DM. This listener inspired me to think about the holiday season as falling in a joyful way...like when your baby is learning to walk. There is so much joy in the 2 little steps and then the fall. Our babies laugh, get up, take a few steps, stumble and then laugh. Can we look at our challenges the same way? All these things that are coming up this holiday season are opportunities for us to grow in our ability to set boundaries & connect with others. We won't get it right all the time. We will fall sometimes. But that is ok.This episode is going to be the first in my series for the holidays of examining our social-emotional health.
