This could possibly be one of the most important conversations I’ve ever had on the Podcast. Nova Reid is a Ted speaker, anti-racism activist, and author. Her incredible debut book The Good Ally is out now. I think the book should be required reading. It is informative and incredibly researched, kind and compassionate. It’s also important for me to say that I have so much to do in my own anti-racism work. To be honest, I have to admit to you that I was nervous about talking to Nova and having this conversation.What I’m learning is how important these conversations are, especially if you are uncomfortable.You will hear me in discomfort, with some shame and guilt.
