The Transfiguation of Christ
Matthew 17:1-9

We engage the text today to truly see the promise of transformation as we follow Jesus as He is transfigured in front of witnesses.  We hear the Father once again offer words of beloved son and then a command to "Listen to him".  

And then we wrestle, we wrestle with the promise, with longing, with grief, and with God.  We will not let you go until you bless us......
