Welcome everybody and thanks for tuning in. This is the 44th episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. I am Matt Campbell and today I am going to be talking about the Hot New Wedding Songs that were released in March 2021. For those of you who haven’t heard the podcast before, I start with March 1st working my way to the 31st going thru all of the new wedding songs that were released and giving you a little bit of background about each song. Unfortunately, we do not have the copyrights to the songs so we cannot sample them. If you do want to listen to the songs we do have them on our website MyWeddingSongs.com. Just go to charts and newly released songs.

So let’s go ahead and get started with the first song on the list. It was actually first released in the early 2000s and was rereleased on March 1, 2021 It is “Dangerous” by Kardinal Offishall and Akon. This is a great dance tune that you could have as an R&B song that will get everybody out on the dance floor. One of the Jonas brothers released “This Is Heaven”, it is Nick Jonas. Released on March 24, 2021, and is part of his Spaceman album that was just released. This is one of my favorite songs off that album to play at weddings. Next up is an Alternative song released on March 5th called “Fall Into Me” by The Chain Gang of 1974. So if you are into alternative music check this out. James Arthur returns with a brand new love song called “Medicine” released on March 25th. Now I really like his song “Falling Like The Stars” and this is similar to that in theme. It is a love song so one that you could have as a first dance song or as a background song.
You know, everything that Bruno Mars releases turns into gold. So, “Leave The Door Open” as a duo with Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak (Silk Sonic) was released on March 5 this year. It is a great song that you could have as a background song or as a dance song for the right R&B crowd. A more mid-tempo to an up-tempo song, Justin Bieber released “Hold On” as part of his Justice Album on March 5th. There are other great love songs on this album like “Anyone In Lifetime”, so if you want a mid-tempo song I would suggest this one. Even for the cake cutting, this is great. R&B legends Rough Endz released their love song “Be The One” released March 5th. It is one that you could play for the R&B fans. I really like this one that you could play as a first dance song or any part of your wedding ceremony or reception.. Speaking about the wedding ceremony, JJ Heller returns with her song “Anything” released on March 5th. I really love this song as part of a ceremony. So as the prelude, or the processional as it really has lots of meaning. Even for the unity ceremony as well. The last song that was released on March 5th is a classic cover song to Marvin Gaye’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”. It is a remake by Jennifer Hudson. If you are looking for an exit song out of the wedding ceremony, or if you are looking for a great background song you can play during cocktail hour or dinner, this song is 5 stars to play.

Not a well-known R&B artist, LaVon Donnie Tatum released “The Gift Of Love” on March 9, 2021. This is a great song you could have for the ceremony or the reception, just a great love song. Speaking about love songs in the R&B realm, I also love the song “Found” by Jacob Banks. Released on March 12th it is a song you could play during the ceremony or reception. The next song released on March 12th,
