Thank you for tuning into the 57th episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. I am Matt Campbell and today I am going to be talking about the Hot 50 Wedding Songs of October 2021. This is going to be a list of songs that I found popular on song charts like Billboard, Apple, Amazon, Spotify, you know, songs that are going to go over great at weddings. If you have never listened to the podcast before, I am going to go over these in alphabetical order by song title. If you prefer to listen to the list, or also read the list, you can do so on our website MyWeddingSongs.com. Just go to charts then hot 50 songs. If you have any questions about any of the songs on the list you can reach out to me.

With that, let's go ahead and get started with the first song on the list. “A-O-K” by Tai Verdes was released May 6, 2021. This is a great background song you could play during cocktail hour or during dinner, that will have everybody singing along and bobbing their heads. The same goes for the second song, “Adore You” by Harry Styles released December 6, 2013. This is a great background song that everyone will recognize and it actually fits the theme of a wedding. The third song is “Astronaut In The Ocean” by Masked Wolf released January 1, 2019. This is a great Hip-Hop song for later in the evening that will have all of the younger crowd dancing and singing along. At number four is the first song on the list by Ed Sheeran called “Bad Habits”, released June 25, 2021. This is a new song that you could have as a background song. Or, if you have the right remix, definitely a dance song as well.

At number five is the Rock band Maneskin with their new song “Beggin”, released December 8, 2017. You know, even though this is four years old, it is a great Rock song just for the Rock fans in attendance. At number six is one of my favorite recent Hip-Hop songs called “Big Energy” by Big Latto, released September 24, 2021. This actually samples Miriah Carey’s song “Fantasy” and it’s a great song to get everyone out on the dance floor during the party section of your reception. At number seven is the modern Disco song “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd, released November 29, 2019, a great dance tune. For K-Pop fans, number eight is “Butter” by BTS, released May 23, 2021. You know this one along with “Dynamite” would make for a great song to play at your wedding reception. At number nine are the married couple, Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris with their song “Chasing After You”, released February 12, 2021. This has been a popular Country song to play at weddings.

At number ten is “Cold Heart (PNAU remix)” by Elton John and Dua Lipa, released August 13, 2021. This is a great song you could have as a background song or even as a dance tune. It is just recent dance songs you could play at your reception. At number 11 is “Count On Me” by Bruno Mars, released October 4, 2010. Even though it is a few years old, it could make for a great parent-child dance song during your wedding reception. Or, even as a special dedication during your reception as well. At number 12 is “Dance Monkey” by Tones and I, released May 10, 2019. Another great dance tune you could have during the reception. If you are looking for a faster new Country song, then at number 13 is “Drunk And I Don’t Wanna Go Home” by Elle King and Miranda Lambert, released February 26, 2021. This is a great song for all the ladies and will have everybody out on the dance floor.
