He's always shied away from the media spotlight but sitting in his Birmingham gym we discuss the pressure on top amateur fighters who turn pro, the difference between the 2 codes and the chaotic nature of life as a boxer. Regrets? It's fair to say that Gavin has a few but he also achieved a lot and I'm pleased to say that we found him in a good place.
