SuperTalk Outdoors invites Lila Sessums & Leigh Bailey known for their show with the 'Swamp Witches' where they go duck hunting with other women call it, a duck hunting sorority in the swamp.' They join Ricky to tell stories on how they got into hunting calling it the 'cathedral of the woods,' dog training, and horseback riding. The common bond that brought the Swamp Witches together originally was their love of horses & foxhunting but this group of women soon discovered they had many other similar outdoor interests. A couple of the witches grew up duck hunting and they organized a hunt for the group in 1999. That first day of duck hunting in the MS Delta will always stand out in Leigh’s mind…paddling out into the frozen swamp in the predawn darkness with her friends was magical. Her memory of the majesty of the swamp, the camaraderie between friends, & the excitement of shooting will never fade.
