Von 2005 bis 2021 erschienen auf diesem RSS-Feed 191 Folgen des 1. Deutschen Videospiel Podcasts, kurz "Erster DVP" genannt. Dann folgte im Februar 2022 ein großer Reboot. Zunächst als Ergänzung zum Twitch-Kanal "Hoobs_TV" geplant, hörte der Podcast auf den Namen "Hoobs TV Podcast". Da der Podcast jedoch mit seiner neuen Ausrichtung recht schnell eigenständig wurde, heißt er seit Juni 2022 "HOOBS POD". In verschiedenen Formaten spricht Derek Hoobs allein oder mit Gästen über sein Lieblingshobby: Games.
