In 2004, a retired couple who had been living on a yacht, sailing the California coastline for the previous 2 years, learned they were going to be grandparents. They were so excited about it, they decided to sell their yacht and move back onto the land to live closer to their grandchild. The retirees quickly found a buyer for their boat, and they made plans to meet some of their family members back on land after the sale, but the couple never showed up.
