People have a natural innate tendency to avoid conflict and so they like to dismiss the value of Jason's propositions. This is a mistake. Once you learn to dispassionately consider two opposing view points in your mind you can then start seeing a deeper and more satisfying truth. Seeing bitcoin in a military context is a useful exercise regardless of your distaste for war.

Finally got round to listening to this Marathon. Lowery came accross much better than on Twitter. However, a lot of what was said sounded like busines school stratagy nonsense.

Some of his tales are a bit hollow and even gloss over some of the more nuanced elements of Proof of Work and indeed the original stated purpose of bitcoin itself. and I wish there was a way for Jason to get his point across with fewer words. nevertheless the viewpoint is interesting and worth listening to and entertaining if you can make it through.
