In 1934, Buts and Jack bond while searching for Missus Bestfriend while Isaac continues the mission to find Buts’ family. Part One - Buts
In 1934, Elizabeth “Buts” Wyland is a young girl living in Alabama with her abusive aunt and uncle. Her only companion is Missus Bestfriend, who lives in a coffee can. Everything changes when she enlists the help of two hobos: a self-ordained wandering monk and a kid-hating gadabout to escape to find her parents in California.
