Liberalism and Its Critics

Liberalism is centuries-old tradition of ideas about liberty as it applies to various domains of life. It includes a diverse set of claims about the relationship of the individual to society, the proper structure of the political system, and the most desirable set of economic arrangements. Properly understood, Liberalism is more of a family of philosophical concepts than a singular political philosophy.
