Free Birth Society
Emilee Saldaya
The Free Birth Society Podcast features honest, gripping, inspiring, and transformative freebirth stories hosted by the founder Emilee Saldaya in conversation with wild women worldwide.
In the vast tapestry of childbirth experiences, a thread runs undisturbed, unmedicated, and true to its ancestral roots: freebirth. This differs from your usual home birth with doulas or midwives in attendance. Freebirth stands apart, where birthing is solely in the hands of the birthing woman, accompanied only by her intuition, rhythms of nature, witnessed by her family.
The Free Birth Podcast invites you to a unique corner of the universe where we dive deep...

Unleashing the Warrior: Dominique’s FBAC of 11lb Baby
After being backed into a corner, fear mongered, and without options in her first birth, Dominique was bullied into a c-section. When she became pregnant again, she was determined to write a new story.
She thought she could make it work with her medical midwives by speaking up, saying no, and taking the reins, but it turned out, as it so often does, that resulted in her midwives abandoning her care at 37 weeks pregnant.
Facing the paths ahead of her, Dominique knew it was either a repea

How Sabali Made Her Freebirth Happen
The word that comes to my mind when I think about this week’s guest, is refreshing. Sabali is a true inspiration to me, with her deep sense of self and no bullshit attitude. In Sabali’s first birth, she was literally abandoned by her birthing team during her home birth, and therefore eventually transferred herself to find support. So when she got pregnant with her second child, she was already highly attuned to what did and didn’t feel right. So halfway through her second pregnancy, she left her

Gloria and Her Twins: 34 weeks, at home, breech, and in the caul.
Gloria, to me, represents the power of woman. After the staff at the hospital attempted to sabotage her birth, Gloria demanded her epidural be turned off and did what she could to birth her baby her way. She left knowing she would not be back. 8 year laters, Gloria finds herself pregnant with twins. She made plans to birth her children her way, at home, and she did. At 34 weeks, Gloria birthed her twins at home, with her second baby breech, born in the caul.
