Tales of the Gray
Nora Lunna
Because we may be getting older, but we still can have fun! Tales of the Gray is a podcast for the ones with a spirit of adventure and a positive outlook, while traveling through the ups and downs of our silver season. These are the stories of midlife and beyond. Middle-Aged Crazies and Silver Travelers are welcome!
Is it the end? Just for season one!
I never thought Tales of the Gray lasted this long! As we end season one and plan ahead for season two, my mind goes back to March 2020 and the lessons this pandemic brought to the world. For some, life won't be the same. To others, this pandemic brought reinvention.
Thank you, Silver Travelers for the laughs and the cries. I will see you on Season Two with more stories and more adventures!

It did not work? Try again!
Episode 10 is up and running and tonight I bring you Kenny's story. As I ponder if I can train for a Spartan race, Kenny's story invites us to try again, even if we think it might not work. Adapt, change, flow like the water.

Aftermath
In this episode (finally episode 8), I talk about Ebony, our first vaccine dose, the aftermath of the trial of Derek Chauvin, and how, as a collective, we can work towards justice while we heal. A lot has been going on and the collective is feeling it to the core. We need to go back from being isolated and become a community.

When The Feels is All You Feel
In tonight's episode, I share with you what happened this weekend when the feelings came like a tsunami. Do I sabotage myself on Day 10 of Whole30 and look for comfort in the sweets? Or do I face the music and go through the motions of what is going on in my inner sanctum? Stay tuned and join me, as I go from sadness to joy in a span of three days.

Dear Food, We Need To Talk
It is said that emotions are an extremely strong trigger for food choices. From a young age food becomes connected to a variety of emotions and social interactions. Whether sad, happy, celebrating, commemorating, lonely, angry etc food is often used to support or cope with these emotions and circumstances. Food has been a comfort and a curse through the years, and I haven’t done anything to fix this relationship. That is, until now.
