In Jewish tradition, the Seventh day of the week is a special time of communion with God and spirituality. It is called Shabbos, or Shabbat, the day of rest. On this day we emulate that which the Creator did when He was involved in His creation. He spent six days in creative mode, and the seventh was a time for reflection on all He had done.
