When we’re in a situation where it is uncertain what the outcome will be, some of us either go straight to assuming the best-case scenario or the worst-case scenario. For some, their reasoning is that since life is basically unpredictable, they spend a lot of time imagining the worst outcome. While some live in blissful optimism where they assume only the best outcome possible. Today hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros talk about these possibilities and the third possibility that’s seldom talked about: the most probable-case scenario. While only having negative predictions helps you be prepared, and positive assumptions set you up for disappointments, both can never be accurate. You can never be so sure about anything in life, so the key is finding that harmony between optimism and pessimism and creating that neutral possibility.
