The important things depend on your core values and context. Importance and urgency are relative. Without the full context, you will be unable to correctly assign importance and urgency. In today’s episode, hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros talk about setting priorities based on importance and urgency. They also discuss the different factors that help you gauge value and opportunity cost. What was important to you 5 years ago may not be important to you now. It also depends on your self-belief because you may be doing things that are important to others but not important to you. If you are surrounded by supportive people, you will likely be more comfortable with putting what's important to you first before doing something to please others.
