It can be hard to know the difference between making an excuse and preparing for something. We often fall into the trap of finding excuses for why things didn’t go as planned. On the other hand, we can also be too hard on ourselves when we miss the mark on some things. In today’s episode, hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros talk about different seasons being for different reasons. Sometimes we beat ourselves up for not being 100% in some aspects of our lives, like fitness, reading, self-improvement, cleaning, and others. It may be because we are transitioning to another season, and we have to adjust our priorities and shift our focus. What we should be doing is giving ourselves grace and understanding our reality, as long as we are genuinely not just making excuses.
