Alon Melchner founded WakingApp in 2011 and served as its first CEO until 2013. Today, as WakingApp's President and head of strategic vision and technology. Prior to WakingApp he founded and served as CEO of digital media agency Digital Boost. In 1996, Alon founded Oak Interactive, one of the first digital agencies in the world that offered strategic and creative services with its own unique rich media technologies & analytics system. In 1998, Alon invented the first rich media technology that offered a layer of animation over websites as an effective advertising system. He later developed a groundbreaking technology that dramatically increased the effectiveness of banner ads.
